DRIVER´S FAQ

In order to pass the Courier & Beyond background check, you must be able to meet the standard below.

No felonies or violent misdemeanors in the past 7 years. Felonies older than 7 years will be considered on a case by case basis.

No history of multiple violent misdemeanors. If you have multiple violent misdemeanors on your record, even older than 7 years, your application will be considered on a case by case basis.

Must have in-state driver’s license for your state of residence. Active duty military are exempt from the in-state license requirement but will be asked to provide proof of service. No other exceptions.

No driving-related convictions for hit-and-run, street racing, or speed contest.

The average background check takes less than three days. Applicants who live or have lived in California and Massachusetts may also experience longer than average turn arounds as the courts in these states generally take longer to respond to records requests.

If you have a vehicle that has a model year which is current to or newer than the current calendar year, you will go through a simplified inspection process. Instead of completing a full inspection, you will simply be asked to provide images of the front, back and sides of the vehicle.

Yes! You must always have valid automotive, liability and health insurance in accordance with state and federal laws. Check your local state regulations for more information about what is required to transport goods in your state.

Courier & Beyond will need to verify your vehicle insurance and registration. We will also need a W9 so that we can provide you with a 1099-K at the end of the year.

All payments will be sent through direct deposit. We will deposit one penny into your bank account to verify your bank account before your account is activated.

If you earned more than $20,000 and completed 200 transactions in a taxable year from Courier & Beyond services, you will receive a 1099-K.

No, customers should never ride in your vehicle. Please only transport courier, not passengers.

This means that another Delivery Professional has accepted the project request. The first Delivery Professional to accept the request will get the project.
